Rare, First edition of the John Sparrow translation, done with the help of his cousin John Ellistone. He used manuscripts from Abraham Willemszoon van Beyerland, sent from Holland. "The Three Principles of the Divine Essence" was Boehme's second book and the one he recommended as an introduction to all his writings. The three principles - the fire world, the light world and the outer world - proceed from the Father, Son and Spirit, and are manifest in all things. - cat. CCFR 1 seul ex. (Bibl. Mazarine) - OCLC 1 seul ex. (British Libr.).
